Fundraising Events
Home Builders Care Foundation annually holds three major fundraising events during the year.

A Day at the Races at Laurel Park is held in annually in the Spring. In 2008, our fun-filled event was held on Saturday, March 8. It was a rainy day for the ponies, but our many guests enjoyed the races in comfort thanks to the Laurel Park's hospitality and indoor amenities.

The Help the Homeless Walkathon, sponsored by the Fannie Mae Foundation takes place annually in fall the Saturday before Thanksgiving - this year on November 22, 2008. HBCF has been a beneficiary agency of this annual event for the past six years.

The Winter Gala Silent Auction takes place at MNCBIA's annual Winter Gala formal during the holidays. The 2008 Winter Gala and Silent Auction is scheduled to take place on Saturday, December 6. Proceeds from the sale of donated auction items benefit Home Builders Care.

General Contributions
General financial contributions to Home Builders Care Foundation (HBCF) can be made year-round, most notably via MNCBIA membership applications and membership renewal forms. Project-specific cash and in-kind contributions are generally solicited and generated as new projects are undertaken. As HBCF is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. All assistance is greatly appreciated!
