A building with a mission
Completed in 2014, the Maryland Center for Housing is a two-story, 10,000-square-foot commercial office building constructed largely through in-kind donations of materials and labor, the same generosity that defines every HBCF project.
Owned by the Home Builders Care Foundation, it serves as the headquarters of the Maryland Building Industry Association and home to other tenants, giving Maryland's building community a single place to gather, advocate, and learn.

More than an address
The center does double duty. Beyond housing the industry's association, it provides a stable revenue stream for the Foundation through tenant rent and conference room rentals.
Those funds flow directly back into HBCF's charitable construction throughout Maryland and Washington DC, so the building itself helps shelter the people we serve.
The center was made possible by the generosity of the late Stewart Greenebaum of Greenbaum Enterprises, whose lead gift helped bring the building to life.
